Document Controller – St. John’s Wood, London – Prestigious Residential Development

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Document Controller to join a highly regarded M&E contractor on a prestigious residential scheme in St. John’s Wood. This landmark development is underway and is expected to run for a further two years, offering long-term stability and the opportunity to play a key role within a high-performing project team.

Our client is a well-established and respected contractor with a progressive, collaborative culture and a strong reputation for delivering high-quality schemes across London. Due to continued growth in the London market, they are looking to strengthen their site-based team with an organised and proactive Document Controller.

The Role

As Document Controller, you will be responsible for managing all project documentation processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely distribution of information across the project team.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Managing and maintaining the project EDMS system

* Uploading, tracking and distributing drawings and technical documentation

* Ensuring document control procedures are followed and maintained

* Liaising with consultants, subcontractors and internal teams

* Maintaining drawing registers and document logs

* Supporting the site and commercial teams with administrative coordination

* Ensuring document compliance in line with company and project standards

The Ideal Candidate

* Proven experience as a Document Controller within the construction sector

* Experience working on residential or high-end projects (preferred)

* Strong working knowledge of multiple EDMS platforms (e.g. Viewpoint, Asite, Aconex, 4Projects, etc.)

* Highly organised with strong attention to detail

* Confident communicator, able to liaise effectively with site teams and external consultants

* Proactive and able to work independently in a busy site environment
