A leading construction consultancy is seeking a commercially focused Project Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of a major Energy and Utilities infrastructure scheme in London. This Quantity Surveyor role will see you providing professional quantity surveying services across the full project lifecycle, working closely with clients and technical teams. The Project Quantity Surveyor will take responsibility for cost planning, procurement and post-contract quantity surveying on complex infrastructure works. This Quantity Surveyor opportunity offers exposure to regulated utilities projects and the chance to strengthen your commercial management experience within a client-facing quantity surveying environment.

The successful Quantity Surveyor will join a well-established consultancy with a strong presence across infrastructure and transport sectors. The team delivers complex projects across the capital, offering structured progression and exposure to high-value programmes.

The Role
As the Project Quantity Surveyor you will work alongside project managers, engineers and client representatives throughout the project lifecycle.

The role will include:
Preparing detailed cost plans, budgets and feasibility estimates
Managing tender documentation, bills of quantities and procurement processes
Advising on procurement routes and contract strategies
Undertaking valuations, change control and cost reporting
Managing variations, claims and final accounts
Identifying commercial and contractual risks and advising on mitigation strategies

The Project Quantity Surveyor?
You will be commercially aware, organised and confident operating in a client-facing infrastructure environment.

The Project Quantity Surveyor must have:
A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
Strong knowledge of NEC contracts
Experience within infrastructure, utilities or transport projects
Proficiency in software such as Excel, Word and CostX
Clear communication and stakeholder management skills
Ideally chartered or working towards RICS

£55,000 – £65,000 pa (dependant on experience)
