Our client, a well-established and growing civil engineering contractor in the North West, is seeking an experienced P6 Project Planner to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering complex infrastructure and civil engineering projects across the region.

The Role:

As a P6 Project Planner, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring detailed project programmes using Primavera P6. Working closely with project managers, commercial teams, and site teams, you will ensure projects are effectively planned, tracked, and delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, manage, and update fully resourced project programmes using Primavera P6
Produce baseline programmes, updates, and progress reports
Monitor critical paths and identify risks and opportunities
Liaise with project teams to gather progress information
Support tender planning and programme development
Conduct delay analysis and provide planning support for change management
Present programme updates to internal and external stakeholdersRequirements:

Proven experience as a Project Planner within civil engineering or infrastructure
Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6
Strong understanding of NEC contracts (desirable)
Experience working on highways, utilities, structures, or infrastructure schemes (desirable)
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively across multiple projectsWhat's on Offer:
