M&E Manager
We are working in partnership with a reputable main contractor delivering a new residential care home development in Leatherhead. They are seeking an experienced M&E Manager to join their senior delivery team on a permanent basis.
This is a key leadership role responsible for the coordination, installation, commissioning, and compliance of all mechanical and electrical services on a residential project, ensuring systems are delivered safely, to programme, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the coordination and delivery of all mechanical and electrical services on site
• Manage M&E subcontractors to ensure works are completed safely, on programme, and within budget
• Oversee installation, commissioning, and handover of building services systems
• Ensure all works comply with statutory regulations, building standards, and project specifications
• Work closely with the project team to maintain programme milestones and resolve technical issues
• Monitor quality, inspections, and compliance to ensure high standards of delivery
• Maintain strong health & safety standards across all M&E activities
About You
• Proven experience as an M&E Manager working for a main contractor
• Strong background delivering residential projects (care homes, apartments, or similar multi-unit schemes)
• Solid technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services installations
• Experience managing subcontractors, programme delivery, and commissioning processes
• Relevant building services, mechanical, or electrical qualifications
• Strong coordination and communication skills, able to work effectively with site teams and stakeholders
