Project Quantity Surveyor
A growing high-end residential developer is seeking a commercially driven Project Quantity Surveyor to join their London team. The Project Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in delivering structured quantity surveying services across luxury residential developments. This Quantity Surveyor position will involve managing core quantity surveying responsibilities throughout the project lifecycle, supporting senior colleagues while maintaining control of day-to-day commercial activities. The Project Quantity Surveyor will work closely with construction and client teams, ensuring strong cost management and consistent quantity surveying standards across multiple schemes.

The successful Project Quantity Surveyor will join a residential development business with over 40 years' experience delivering bespoke projects across London. The company operates with a collaborative management team and maintains a strong pipeline of repeat client work.
The Role
As the Project Quantity Surveyor you will support the commercial performance of projects from pre-construction through to final account.
The role will include:
Preparing cost plans, budgets and feasibility assessments
Assisting with tender documentation and contract preparation
Managing subcontract procurement and commercial negotiations
Monitoring valuations, variations and change control
Supporting risk management and value engineering exercises
Overseeing interim payments and contributing to final accounts
Producing regular financial and progress reportsThe Project Quantity Surveyor?
You will be commercially aware, organised and confident operating within a residential development environment.
The Project Quantity Surveyor must have:
A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within construction
Good knowledge of building contracts
Experience supporting projects through the full development lifecycle
Strong communication and negotiation skills
MRICS status desirable or working towardsIn return……?
£45,000 – £55,000 pa (dependant on experience)
