Operations Manager – Rotherham – from £45,000 DOE

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager with fenestration industry experience to oversee and drive the daily operations of our retail and installation divisions. You will ensure teams operate efficiently, processes run smoothly, and performance targets are achieved, while fostering a positive work culture.
This is a senior role, responsible for managing multiple teams including Installations, Service, Surveying, Contracts, and Administration, as well as indirect reports such as technicians and subcontractors. You will also manage budgets, monitor performance, identify process improvements, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and industry regulations.

Responsibilities will include:
 
Lead and manage Operations and Installations teams, ensuring smooth day-to-day performance
Monitor departmental performance, identify issues, and implement solutions
Manage human resource requirements including recruitment, team development, and training
Oversee budget control, financial forecasting, and project debt management
Collaborate across departments to improve processes and operational efficiency
Manage physical resources including offices, buildings, and equipment
Ensure compliance with legal requirements, Health & Safety, CDM regulations, and company policies
What We’re Looking For:
 
Experience in a similar role
Construction/Home Improvements/Fenestration knowledge
Good Health and Safety, compliance and CDM knowledge
People management experience
