Site Agent
Pinnacle Recruitment are currently looking for a Site Agent for a leading UK contractor working in the water and civil engineering sectors.
We’re looking for a proactive and driven Mains Replacement Agent to play a key role in the successful on-site delivery of water mains renewal schemes across London. In this role, you’ll be responsible for coordinating daily site operations, ensuring materials and equipment arrive on time, and upholding the highest standards of health, safety, quality, and compliance.
Salary – £55,000 + pkg
Duties
* Oversee daily site operations to ensure timely delivery of water main replacement works, coordinating closely with site teams and subcontractors.
* Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment to site teams, preventing delays and maintaining workflow efficiency.
* Uphold and enforce all HSE standards on-site, conducting regular inspections and promoting a culture of safety.
* Liaise with clients, local authorities, and internal teams to provide updates, resolve issues, and maintain strong working relationships.
* Lead and motivate site personnel, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment aligned with the company values.
* Track project milestones, maintain accurate site records, and report progress to senior management, highlighting risks and mitigation strategies.
* Ensure all works meet required specifications and standards, conducting inspections and managing quality control documentation.
* Respond swiftly to site challenges, including logistical issues or unforeseen delays, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
* Monitor site expenditures, manage resources efficiently, and support the commercial team in maintaining budgetary control.
* Contribute to process improvements and innovation, helping set new benchmarks in water infrastructure delivery.
Requirements
* Experience managing infrastructure projects, ideally in water mains or utilities, with a strong understanding of site operations, health & safety, and quality standards.
* Experience leading site teams and subcontractors, while effectively liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal departments to maintain project momentum.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Water Hygiene
* NRSWA – Unit 10 (or equivalent), backfilling and reinstating.
* Cable Avoidance/Safe Digging
* First Aid
