Contracts Manager Role – Industrial Roofing

Location: North West (Office-based with UK-wide site travel)

Salary: £55,000-£60,000 + Car Allowance

About the Company

A well‑established and rapidly growing roofing contractor with a strong pipeline of industrial and commercial projects across the UK. Known for delivering high‑quality roofing solutions on large-scale warehouse and industrial schemes, the business is expanding and now seeks an experienced Contracts Manager to join the team.

The Role

As Contracts Manager, you will oversee 2-4 live projects at any one time (depending on value and complexity), ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards. This is an office‑based role with regular UK‑wide site visits.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the delivery of industrial roofing projects from pre‑start through to completion

Oversee site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution

Conduct regular site visits across the UK to monitor progress, quality, and compliance

Review project specifications, drawings, and contractual requirements

Manage project budgets, valuations, variations, and cost control

Ensure all works meet health & safety standards and company procedures

Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and internal teams

Report on project performance and proactively resolve issues

Support tendering, planning, and project handover processes

About You

Based in the North West and able to travel UK‑wide

Strong background in roofing, ideally industrial or commercial

Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills

Confident in client-facing situations and problem-solving

Full UK driving licence
