Salary: £30,000 – £45,000 + Package
1 Day per Week Working from Home

Albion Recruitment is currently working with a long-established specialist contractor who is looking to appoint an Assistant Estimator to join their pre-construction team.

The business is known for delivering high-quality stone, façade, and restoration packages across prestigious commercial, heritage, and high-end residential projects throughout London and the South East. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior or assistant-level estimator to develop their career within a specialist contractor environment.

The Role

You will support the senior estimating team in preparing cost plans and tender submissions across a range of façade and stonework projects.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting with the preparation of cost estimates from drawings and specifications

*

Taking off quantities for stone and façade packages

*

Requesting and analysing supplier and subcontractor quotations

*

Supporting tender submissions and documentation

*

Liaising with design, procurement, and project teams

*

Maintaining accurate records of tenders and estimates

Candidate Requirements

*

Previous experience in an estimating or commercial role within construction

*

Background in façades, stonework, drylining, or interiors preferred

*

Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications

*

Good numerical and analytical skills

*

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

*

Eagerness to learn and progress within estimating
