Accounts Manager

I'm looking to speak with experienced and driven Accounts Managers, to join a fast expanding main contractor within the construction industry, based out of their offices in either Manchester or Warrington. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to play a key role in managing client accounts, overseeing financial processes, and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of client accounts, acting as the primary point of contact

Prepare and review management accounts, financial reports, and forecasts

Oversee budgeting, cash flow management, and financial planning

Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations

Liaise with internal teams to support business strategy and performance

Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships

Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies

About You:
Qualified or part-qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or qualified by experience

Proven experience in account management or financial management

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage, QuickBooks)

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
