- a Construction Management / Civil Engineering graduate, or
- a candidate seeking an apprenticeship route (with day-release / off-the-job learning where applicable).
You’ll gain real site leadership experience alongside office-based project management and commercial exposure, building the skills needed to run packages safely, to programme, and to budget.
What you’ll be doing

On site (core focus initially):
- Supporting day-to-day site set-up, logistics, and supervision of subcontractors
- Implementing RAMS and safe systems of work; delivering toolbox talks and briefings
- Assisting with permits, inspections, and coordination of plant and lifting activities (where relevant)
- Maintaining high-quality site records (diaries, photos, check sheets, materials, deliveries)
In the office (increasing over time):
- Document control, RFIs, drawing/spec reviews, and progress reporting
- Programming support (look-ahead planning, constraints tracking, progress updates)
- Procurement support (enquiries, quote comparisons, lead times, placing orders)
- Commercial exposure (measurement/progress evidence, variations/compensation events, cost/value reporting)
Training and development
We provide a clear pathway to Site Manager, including (subject to role stage and readiness):
- CSCS + relevant H&S training
- SSSTS progressing to SMSTS
- Temporary Works awareness (and progression where appropriate)
