A leading Mechanical & Electrical Services contractor is continuing to expand across the Central Belt and is currently seeking experienced Electrical Supervisors to support a growing portfolio of contracts.

The Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Electrical Supervisor will take responsibility for the day-to-day supervision and coordination of electrical works on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Review design requirements upon appointment and identify any missing information

* Raise Technical Queries via the Design Development Tracker & Project Manager

* Obtain and manage all purchase and subcontract orders

* Issue delivery schedules to suppliers

* Issue project programmes to subcontractors

* Coordinate material deliveries, site storage and laydown areas

* Coordinate direct labour and subcontractors to commence works

* Monitor site progress and report accordingly

* Ensure RAMS are in place prior to works commencing

* Conduct site inductions, RAMS briefings, toolbox talks and welfare reports

* Ensure all pre-use checks are completed and recorded

* Ensure operatives adhere to RAMS and wear appropriate PPE

* Record and report any project changes to the project team

* Direct tradesmen, operatives and subcontractors to carry out works effectively

* Attend and contribute to site progress meetings with clients

* Act on issues raised during SHE inspections

* Liaise with the Buyer regarding supplier performance or issues

* Carry out quality inspections of all elements of work

* Obtain quality inspections from subcontractors

* Ensure all Test & Commissioning certification is obtained and included within the O&M Manual

* Carry out demonstrations of M&E installations to clients and end users

Requirements

* SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) – essential

* Valid CSCS card – essential

* Proven experience supervising electrical works within M&E projects

* Strong understanding of health & safety compliance and site procedures

* Excellent organisational and communication skills

* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders including subcontractors and clients
