Asbestos Surveyor Analyst

An established environmental consultancy is seeking an experienced Surveyor / Analyst to join its technical team. This dual role combines asbestos surveying and air monitoring responsibilities, offering varied work across commercial, industrial, and public sector sites.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct Management, Refurbishment & Demolition asbestos surveys in line with HSG264

*

Undertake air monitoring, 4-stage clearances, background, reassurance and personal monitoring

*

Complete Certificate of Reoccupation documentation

*

Produce accurate survey reports and analytical paperwork

*

Ensure full compliance with HSE guidance and UKAS standards

*

Maintain high standards of health & safety on site

*

Liaise professionally with clients and contractors

*

Manage workload efficiently to meet deadlines

Essential Requirements

*

BOHS P402 – Surveying and Sampling Strategies for Asbestos in Buildings

*

BOHS P403 – Air Sampling and Fibre Counting (PCM)

*

BOHS P404 – Clearance Testing and Requirements for Certificate of Reoccupation
(RSPH equivalents accepted)

*

Proven experience in both surveying and analytical duties

*

Strong knowledge of HSG264 and HSG248

*

Full UK driving licence

Desirable

*

Experience working within a UKAS-accredited organisation

*

Strong report writing skills

*

Ability to work independently and manage own diary
