MMP Consultancy are currently working with a forward-thinking Local Authority Trading Company (LATCo) who are seeking their next M&E Manager to join the team. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to step into a unique, multi‑faceted role within an organisation that is continuing to grow and evolve.

The successful candidate will play a key part in shaping, developing, and leading Mechanical & Electrical services across a diverse property portfolio. With significant autonomy and the ability to influence service delivery, this role offers excellent long‑term progression and a platform to truly make an impact.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the delivery of all Mechanical & Electrical services across the organisation's assets.
Lead on compliance, ensuring all statutory and regulatory requirements are met.
Manage contractors and internal teams to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Support strategic planning, service improvement, and project delivery.
Provide technical expertise for M&E projects, upgrades, and maintenance programmes.
Identify opportunities for efficiency, innovation, and service enhancement.

About You

Strong technical background in Mechanical & Electrical services.
Experience working within social housing, local authority, LATCo or similar environments.
Proven ability to manage contractors, programmes, and health & safety compliance.
Forward-thinking, proactive, and able to work both strategically and operationally.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
