Senior Estimator

Position: Senior Estimator,

Salary: £105,(Apply online only),000 + Car / Car allowance + Pension + Health

My client has an excellent reputation within the industry and is now seeking a Senior Estimator to join their pre-construction team. The organisation is a main building contractor with a solid presence in London and the South East who have a reputation in delivering high quality construction schemes ranging from £15M to £200M in value across both new build and refurbishment markets. The company carry out work across all sectors; however their reputation is strong in the sectors of Commercial, Mixed-use, MOD and Residential builds.

Duties for the role:

Production of accurate prime costs for the projects
Co-ordinate the tender process
Develop relationships with design consultants, clients, project managers etc
Identify areas of risk and opportunity
Develop relationships with sub-contractors and suppliers
Develop knowledge of market place and competitorsCandidate Profile:

Build background, ideally with commercial experience
Use of Conquest estimating software would be beneficial
Previous experience in a similar role
Able to maintain a high level of work quality against cost restraints
Proven track record on all forms of procurement
