About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Fire Door Installer to join a respected and growing passive fire protection team within a Main contractor. You’ll be responsible for installing, adjusting, and maintaining fire‑rated doors across residential and commercial properties, ensuring full compliance with current fire safety regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities of a Fire Door Installer

* Install new fire doors, frames, and associated ironmongery to certified standards

* High Security doors

* Carry out remedial works on existing fire doors

* Ensure all installations meet BM TRADA / FIRAS / relevant accreditation requirements

* Complete all documentation and installation reports accurately

* Liaise professionally with clients, tenants, and site teams

* Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety, and compliance

Requirements for a Fire Door Installer

* Proven experience as a Fire Door Installer / Fire Door Fitter / FRA Carpenter

* Strong carpentry and joinery background

* Understanding of fire safety regulations and fire‑rated components

* Full UK driving licence

* Ability to work independently and deliver high‑quality work
