Salary: £34,000 + £3,000 Car Allowance + Package
About Project
We are recruiting for a Resident Liaison Officer to support the delivery of a £14m cladding remediation scheme at The Linx & Ingenta Building in Manchester.
This is a major building safety project involving the removal and replacement of external wall systems to ensure full compliance with current fire safety and building regulations. The building is occupied, making clear communication and resident engagement critical to the project’s success.
The Role
As Resident Liaison Officer, you will act as the key point of contact between the site team and residents, ensuring works are communicated clearly, concerns are addressed professionally, and disruption is kept to a minimum.
You will play a vital role in maintaining positive relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include
* Acting as the primary liaison between residents, the client, and the site team
* Providing clear updates on programme, access requirements, and upcoming works
* Organising and attending resident meetings and drop-in sessions
* Managing complaints and resolving issues promptly and professionally
* Coordinating access to occupied properties where required
* Maintaining accurate records of communications and resident interactions
* Supporting the Project Manager with stakeholder reporting
* Ensuring safeguarding and confidentiality standards are upheld
About You
We are looking for a confident, empathetic, and organised individual with experience working in occupied residential environments.
Essential
* Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer or in a customer-facing construction role
* Experience working on refurbishment or remediation projects
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational and administrative abilities
* Ability to handle sensitive situations calmly and professionally
* Full UK driving licence
Desirable
* Experience on cladding or fire remediation schemes or social housing
* Knowledge of social housing or high-rise residential environments
* Understanding of construction programmes and terminology
