Associate Quantity Surveyor
A well-established construction consultancy is seeking an Associate Quantity Surveyor to join their London office. The Associate Quantity Surveyor will lead on the delivery of professional quantity surveying services across a varied portfolio of projects. This Associate Quantity Surveyor role will involve managing key client relationships, overseeing project teams and driving high standards of quantity surveying delivery. The Associate Quantity Surveyor will play an important role in strengthening the consultancy's quantity surveying offering within the London market.
The Company?
The successful Associate Quantity Surveyor will be joining an independent, multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy with a strong reputation across the UK. They provide cost management and quantity surveying services across residential, commercial and mixed-use developments. The Associate Quantity Surveyor will work closely with Directors and senior stakeholders, contributing to both project delivery and the continued growth of the London team.
The Role
As the Associate Quantity Surveyor you will take responsibility for leading projects from feasibility through to completion, providing clear commercial guidance to clients and internal teams.
The role will include:
Leading cost planning and budget preparation
Managing procurement processes and tender documentation
Providing contract administration and commercial advice
Overseeing valuations, variations and final accounts
Managing and mentoring junior quantity surveyors
Supporting business development and client relationship management
The Associate Quantity Surveyor?
You will be a commercially focused and client-facing Associate Quantity Surveyor with the ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects.
The Associate Quantity Surveyor must have:
A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
MRICS status
A proven track record as a Quantity Surveyor within a UK consultancy
Experience delivering projects in the London market
Strong knowledge of JCT and other standard forms of contract

£80,000 – £90,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
