Associate Quantity Surveyor
An established construction consultancy is seeking an Associate Quantity Surveyor to lead and develop a growing quantity surveying team in their London office. The Associate Quantity Surveyor will take responsibility for delivering high quality quantity surveying services across a diverse project portfolio. This Associate Quantity Surveyor role will suit an experienced quantity surveyor looking to step into a strategic leadership position, combining hands-on project delivery with team management and business development. The Associate Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in shaping the future direction of the quantity surveying function within the London market.
The Company?
The successful Associate Quantity Surveyor will join a respected multi-disciplinary construction consultancy with a strong presence across the UK. They provide cost management and quantity surveying services across commercial, residential, mixed-use and public sector schemes. The Associate Quantity Surveyor will work closely with senior stakeholders, contributing to both project delivery and the ongoing growth of the London office.
The Role
As the Associate Quantity Surveyor, you will lead project teams and oversee the delivery of quantity surveying services from inception through to completion.
The role will include:
Leading cost planning and budgeting across multiple projects
Overseeing procurement strategies and tender processes
Providing contract administration and commercial advice
Managing valuations, variations and final accounts
Mentoring and developing junior quantity surveyors
Supporting client relationship management and new business opportunities
The Associate Quantity Surveyor?
The Associate Quantity Surveyor will be commercially focused, confident in client-facing environments and capable of leading teams.
The Associate Quantity Surveyor must have:
A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
MRICS status or equivalent professional accreditation
A strong track record as a Quantity Surveyor within a UK consultancy environment
Experience managing teams and delivering projects in the London market
Sound knowledge of JCT and other standard forms of contract

£80,000 – £90,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
