Project Manager
A leading independent construction consultancy based in Central London is seeking a Project Manager to join their established commercial team. This Project Manager will deliver high-value office refurbishments and mixed-use developments across Zones 1-2. The Project Manager will work with institutional investors, asset managers and corporate occupiers on CAT A, CAT A+ and CAT B fit-out schemes.
The Project Manager will take schemes from feasibility through to completion, operating across RIBA Stages 1-7. The Project Manager will manage procurement strategies, oversee programme performance and administer contracts under JCT Design & Build and JCT Standard Building Contracts. You must have prior construiction consultancy experience as a Project Manager to be considered for this role.
The 'Project Manager's' role
The Project Manager will be responsible for leading project meetings, managing design coordination, controlling risk registers and reporting directly to key stakeholders. The Project Manager will oversee contractor performance, monitor change control procedures and ensure delivery aligns with cost and programme objectives. Projects will range from £5m-£50m in value, often within occupied commercial buildings requiring careful logistical planning.

The successful Project Manager will hold a construction-related degree (Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying or similar) and ideally be MRICS, MCIOB or MAPM qualified, or working towards chartership. Strong knowledge of JCT contracts, commercial office fit-out delivery and consultancy-side project management is essential.
