Industry: Energy Efficiency & Renewables

Our client is a well-established installation company with over 10 years’ experience in the industry. They specialise in a wide range of domestic energy efficiency and renewable solutions, including:

Gas boiler replacements

External wall insulation

Underfloor insulation

Loft insulation

Cavity wall insulation

Solar panels

Air source heat pumps

Due to a continued busy work load they are looking for a Team Leader to join their team in the West Midlands.

Critical tasks / responsibilities:

Lead and supervise a team of 6 – 8 admin staff supporting retrofit projects (e.g., document control, scheduling, compliance paperwork, invoicing, customer correspondence).

Oversee daily admin operations, process improvements, workload allocation, performance monitoring, and training.

Ensure accurate record-keeping, data entry, and reporting for projects, funding claims, and audits.

Liaise with project/site teams and act as escalation point for admin issues.

Experience

3–7+ years in administrative roles, with 2–4+ years in supervisory/team leader capacity (ideally in construction, housing, or energy services).

Strong organisational and leadership skills; proficient in MS Office, project admin tools, and compliance/documentation processes.

Experience in retrofit/construction admin (e.g., handling PAS/MCS paperwork, funding submissions) highly advantageous
