We are a specialist recruitment agency working on behalf of a well-established fire safety consultancy that is expanding its presence across Yorkshire. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of commercial projects, we are seeking an experienced Fire Risk Assessor to join their professional and highly regarded team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of commercial premises including offices, retail units, industrial sites, healthcare facilities, and mixed-use developments.

As a Fire Risk Assessor, you will:

Conduct comprehensive fire risk assessments across a variety of commercial properties

Produce detailed, compliant reports in line with current UK legislation

Provide practical, risk-based recommendations to clients

Liaise directly with business owners, facilities managers, and stakeholders

Support clients in achieving compliance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fire safety standards and best practice

Requirements

Proven experience conducting fire risk assessments within commercial premises

Strong knowledge of UK fire safety legislation and guidance

Relevant qualifications (e.g. NEBOSH Fire Certificate, Level 3/4 Fire Risk Assessment, or equivalent)

Membership of a recognised professional body (e.g. IFSM, IFE) desirable

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Full UK driving licence
