Site Supervisor
Astute's Power Team are currently recruiting for a Site Supervisor to join the EPC Contractor on a New Build Open Cycle Gas Turbine project based in Stewartby, Bedfordshire.
The day rate for the Site Supervisor is from £350.00 to £400.00 per day outside of IR35.
Role responsibilities and key skills for the role:
Conduct daily site walkarounds to monitor construction progress, workmanship quality, and general site conditions.
Ensure strict adherence to HSE standards, method statements, and risk assessments across all work fronts.
Identify unsafe acts/conditions and intervene immediately to maintain a zero-harm culture.
Act as the key interface between EPC site management and subcontractors to ensure clear communication and alignment.
Monitor subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and programme.
Report progress, delays, safety observations, and site issues to the Construction Manager on a daily basis.
Support coordination of work fronts to avoid clashes and improve efficiency across civil, mechanical, and electrical scopes.
Assist with inspections, punch-list tracking, and quality checks prior to handover stages.
Maintain accurate site records, photos, and daily reports to support project documentation and client reporting.Location, day rate and timeframe of the Site Supervisor position:
