The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager – Facades to join a £6m façade project based in Southampton. This is an initial 6-month contract with strong potential for further work.

Working under an experienced Senior Project Manager, you will take responsibility for managing façade installation works on a live construction site while maintaining strong relationships with the main contractor and subcontract teams.

Project Scope Includes:

Curtain Walling installation

*

Insulation works

*

Entrance doors

*

Rainscreen (RS) cladding

*

Ground floor soffits

*

Plant room cladding

Key Responsibilities

*

Day-to-day site management of façade works

*

Coordination of subcontractors and site operatives

*

Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification

*

Reading and interpreting construction drawings

*

Liaising confidently with the main contractor and site teams

*

Maintaining site records and reporting progress

*

Supporting the Senior Project Manager with project delivery

Requirements

*

Black Card CSCS (Management Level) – Essential

*

SMSTS

*

First Aid at Work

*

MEWP for Managers certification

*

Proven façade / external envelope experience

*

Strong IT skills and reporting ability

*

Confident communicator able to represent the subcontractor professionally on site

*

Experience managing curtain walling or cladding packages preferred
