Mechanical Supervisor / Site Manager – Building Services – MEP – M&E

A Midlands based MEP Contractor is looking for a Mechanical Supervisor to support the delivery of construction projects from early mobilisation through to final handover. You will work closely with the Project Manager to interpret design information, coordinate with trades and suppliers, and ensure the project programme is maintained. A strong technical mindset and the ability to solve problems on site are essential.

In this role, you will help ensure that all Mechanical Installations meet the required quality, safety, and compliance standards. This includes carrying out inspections, managing technical queries, monitoring material usage, and identifying any variations or issues that could affect delivery. Clear communication and attention to detail will be key to your success.

As the project progresses towards completion, you will assist in planning and witnessing testing and commissioning activities, coordinating with specialists and client representatives to achieve full system sign-off.

This position is ideal for someone with a supervisor and/or engineering background who enjoys hands-on involvement and wants to contribute directly to the successful delivery of high-quality projects. We will also consider candidates from a pipefitter background who has managerial experience.
