Day-to-Day

As a Sustainability Consultant, your daily responsibilities will include:

Conducting sustainability assessments and certifications for a variety of projects.
Engaging with clients to understand their sustainability goals and providing tailored solutions.
Preparing detailed reports and documentation to support planning and technical requirements.
Collaborating with a professional and supportive team to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Staying informed about industry trends and best practices to maintain excellence in service delivery.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

Deliver BREEAM assessments and other sustainability certifications, such as HQM, Fitwel, and SKA.
Develop and implement sustainability strategies for projects across multiple sectors.
Prepare sustainability certification reports for planning and technical purposes.
Manage client engagement and ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve project objectives.

Qualifications

We are looking for a motivated and organized individual who meets the following criteria:

Qualified in BREEAM certification with a proven track record of certifying buildings.
Knowledge of or qualifications in other certifications (e.g., HQM, Fitwel, SKA) is highly desirable.
Degree or postgraduate qualification in a related discipline.
Membership or qualification through a professional body such as ISEP, IEMA, CIBSE, or LCC.
Strong commercial awareness of building regulations, the planning process, and the construction industry.
Excellent numeracy, interpersonal, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
A valid driving license with fewer than 3 penalty points.
