Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Paddington, London (Static)

Salary: £46,000 per annum + Benefits

Shift: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week

Are you a proactive engineer who takes pride in keeping a premium building running like clockwork? We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a dedicated onsite facilities team at one of Paddington's most prestigious commercial developments.

The Role

You will be the go-to expert for all mechanical plant and system maintenance, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for high-profile tenants.

Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Executing scheduled checks on AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, and pressurized systems.

Reactive Repairs: Responding swiftly to mechanical failures, leaks, and HVAC issues.

System Monitoring: Managing BMS alarms and optimizing plant performance for energy efficiency.

Contractor Management: Overseeing specialist sub-contractors during major works or cooling tower treatments.

Compliance: Ensuring all works meet H&S regulations and site-specific RAMS.

What You'll Need

Qualifications: Level 3 City & Guilds / NVQ in Mechanical Engineering or Plumbing & Heating.

Experience: A solid background in building services (FM) within commercial offices or critical environments.
