Location: Downham Market (Office Based + Nationwide Site Visits)
Package: £45,000 – £55,000 DOE + Car / Allowance + Benefits
Full Time | 8:30am – 5:30pm

Up Front Recruitment are working with a market-leading nationwide Construction Services and Demountable Building Specialist to recruit an experienced Project Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven Project Manager looking to take the next step in their career, working closely with an established Project Management and Operations team while supporting continued business growth.

This is primarily an office-based role in Downham Market, with frequent travel to live sites nationwide in line with programme requirements.

The Role

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of project delivery across the business. This will include both standalone projects and structured roll-out programmes delivered across multiple live sites nationwide.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Surveying sites and producing clear, structured scope documents for individual projects and roll-out programmes.

* Supporting the Estimator / Quantity Surveyor with tender queries, clarifications and programme assumptions.

* Liaising with clients, consultants and suppliers to develop and agree design solutions, including fire-stopping, compartmentation and life-safety requirements where applicable.

* Producing, agreeing and actively managing construction programmes, including phased and repeat works.

* Preparing for site commencement, often within live or operational environments.

* Leading procurement of subcontractors and materials, ensuring compliance and consistency across programmes.

* Producing and issuing Pre-Construction Information Packs where required.

* Producing and managing Construction Phase Plans, Risk Assessments and Method Statements, including statutory safety documentation.

* Managing Health, Safety and Environmental compliance in line with CDM Regulations.

* Controlling design changes and ensuring impacts on cost, programme and compliance are effectively managed.

* Coordinating subcontractors and suppliers to deliver works to approved design, quality standards and agreed timelines.

* Supporting commercial management, including variations and risk mitigation.

* Managing project handover, including H&S Files, O&M Manuals and fire compliance documentation.

* Building and maintaining strong, professional relationships with clients and supply chain partners.

What We’re Looking For

* Proven experience in a Project Manager role within construction.

* Experience delivering multi-site or roll-out programmes is highly desirable.

* Experience managing fire compliance, life-safety or statutory compliance works would be a strong advantage.

* Relevant professional qualification preferred.

* Strong working knowledge of CDM 2015 Regulations.

* Highly process-driven with strong organisational skills.

* Confident managing both paper-based and electronic documentation.

* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and project programming software.

* Excellent communication skills.

* Willingness to travel nationwide as required.

* £45,000 – £55,000 depending on experience
