Position: Site Supervisor

Location: Edinburgh (covering multiple sites across Central Scotland)

Our client is a respected and long-established civil engineering contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality refurbishment and strengthening works across roads, bridges, rail tracks, and wider infrastructure projects.

The Role
An experienced Site Supervisor is required to join the team on a permanent basis. While the role is based in Edinburgh, you will oversee projects across various locations throughout Central Scotland.

This position requires proven experience within concrete frames, waterproofing and cathodic protection experience.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day site operations to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Coordinate effectively with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain smooth project delivery.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date site records, including site diaries.

Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and quality assurance procedures.

Monitor progress to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Essential Criteria

Demonstrable experience managing operational activities on civil engineering sites.

Background working with a civil engineering contractor.

Experience on bridges, roads, and infrastructure projects (preferred).

Essential experience in concrete repair, waterproofing, and cathodic protection.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Proven ability to deliver projects within agreed timescales and budgets.

Excellent communication skills to liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and senior management.

Willingness to travel as required.
