Building Surveyor

A well established UK consultancy is seeking a Building Surveyor to join their London office. The Building Surveyor will deliver a mix of professional and project services across education, commercial, industrial and office sectors. This Building Surveyor position offers exposure to varied instructions, direct client interaction and involvement in schemes from inception to completion. The Building Surveyor will work within a collaborative team environment, strengthening technical capability and commercial awareness. This Building Surveyor opportunity suits an individual looking to broaden sector experience while progressing within a structured consultancy setting.

The Role
As the Building Surveyor you will undertake a combination of professional and project based surveying instructions across a range of asset types.

The role will include:
* Delivering professional and project related building surveying services
* Working across education, commercial, industrial and office sectors
* Undertaking inspections, producing reports and providing technical advice
* Administering contracts and monitoring works on site
* Supporting senior colleagues while managing your own instructions

The Building Surveyor?
You will be client facing, organised and commercially aware, with previous consultancy experience. Applications from non construction related backgrounds will not be considered.

The Building Surveyor must have:
* BSc or MSc in Building Surveying
* MRICS qualified or progressing through APC
* Experience within a consultancy environment
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
