A growing construction consultancy in Manchester is looking to appoint a Project Manager within their residential and mixed-use division. This Project Manager will lead new-build apartment developments, build-to-rent schemes and regeneration projects across Greater Manchester. The Project Manager will manage projects from early feasibility through to completion, working directly with developers and funders.

The Project Manager will oversee contractor performance and ensure delivery aligns with funding and planning requirements. You must have prior construiction consultancy experience as a Project Manager to be considered for this role.

The 'Project Manager's' role

The Project Manager will chair progress meetings, coordinate multidisciplinary consultants and manage stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle. The Project Manager will oversee change management processes, review contractor applications and monitor programme performance. Project values typically range between £10m-£60m and may include phased handovers or mixed tenure elements.

The 'Project Manager'

The successful Project Manager will hold a construction-related degree and ideally be MRICS, MCIOB or MAPM qualified or progressing towards chartership. A proven background delivering residential or mixed-use schemes within a consultancy setting is ideal. Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and developer-led procurement is required.
