Project Manager – Sewer Rehabilitation (Short‑Term Contract)

Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the transition and delivery of a sewer rehabilitation infiltration programme on a short‑term basis. This contract role is ideal for a PM with strong civil engineering or utilities experience who can step in quickly and ensure a smooth handover and programme continuity.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate the transition of an active sewer rehab infiltration programme
Manage project documentation including specifications, estimates, risk assessments, and method statements
Oversee resources, support site activities, and conduct site inspections
Ensure customer requirements are met and address issues promptly
Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and compliance
Communicate HSQE standards effectively to site teams and senior personnel
Prepare safety documentation and ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations
What We're Looking For
Experience as a Project Manager or Assistant PM within civil engineering, utilities, drainage, or construction
Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental legislation
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and support a seamless project transition
Experience in sewer rehabilitation or water industry programmes (desirable)
Background on major infrastructure works (e.g., HS2, Thames Water) is advantageous
Relevant qualifications in project management, civil engineering, or related fields
