Salary – £60-80k + Package depending on references

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a forward-thinking contractor operating within the UK water and civil engineering sectors. This is an excellent opportunity to lead the successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects from pre-construction through to completion.

The Role
In this position, you will take full ownership of planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects. Working closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, you'll ensure all works are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
You will be involved in projects that support essential water and wastewater treatment operations, covering power, process equipment, control systems, and supporting civil structures. This role offers exposure to a wide range of technical disciplines and the opportunity to make a real impact on critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and manage construction projects from inception to completion

* Oversee planning, programming, and progress using industry-standard tools (e.g., P6)

* Review technical documentation and proactively manage project risks

* Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and delivery teams

* Ensure compliance with all relevant standards, processes, and contractual requirements

* Promote a positive and collaborative working environment

* Strong understanding of construction project management principles and systems

* Excellent knowledge of construction methodologies, contracts, and change control

* Confident reviewing technical information and identifying project risks
