Position: Architectural Technologist – 45869
Location: Market Harborough, Leicestershire
Salary: £35,000 – £50,000 (DOE) + Hybrid Working + Excellent Benefits Package
Our client, a multi-award-winning Architectural Consultancy with a strong regional presence and an expanding portfolio across the Midlands, is seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join their growing Market Harborough office.
This is a design-led, forward-thinking practice delivering innovative and sustainable solutions across the Residential, Commercial, Industrial and Education sectors.
Due to continued growth and a healthy pipeline of secured work, they are looking for a technically strong individual who can take ownership of projects and run them confidently through detailed design, technical delivery and on-site coordination.
This role will suit a proactive Architectural Technologist who enjoys taking responsibility, leading project packages, and acting as a key point of contact for clients and consultants. You will play an integral role within a collaborative team environment, contributing both technically and strategically to project success.
Job-running experience is essential for this position, including demonstrable experience managing projects through RIBA Stages 4-6, coordinating consultants, attending site meetings, and ensuring projects are delivered on programme and within budget.

Running projects independently or as part of a small team, taking ownership from detailed design through to handover
Preparing and coordinating comprehensive working drawing packages in Revit
Producing high-quality technical drawings, construction details, sections and elevations
Leading the production of technical and construction information packs
Managing planning application drawings and supporting documentation
Coordinating and liaising with clients, contractors, consultants and local authorities
Attending and chairing design team meetings where required
Undertaking regular site visits, inspections and snagging
Ensuring compliance with UK Building Regulations, planning policy and relevant standards
Supporting tender processes, value engineering exercises and contractor queries
Contributing to feasibility studies and early-stage design development
Mentoring and supporting junior team members where appropriateArchitectural Technologist – Job Requirements
Degree-qualified in Architectural Technology, Architecture or a related discipline
Strong proficiency in Revit
Proven experience running projects and managing technical delivery independently
Demonstrable experience across Residential, Education, Commercial or Industrial sectors
Strong technical knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction methods
Experience preparing planning submissions and technical documentation
Confident client-facing manner with excellent coordination skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple live projects
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Based within a commutable distance of Market Harborough
Full UK driving licence (essential due to site responsibilities)
