Site Engineer

Role Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer to carry out datums and setting out works for brickwork packages on an active construction site.

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining accurate control points, ensuring brickwork is set out correctly in line with drawings and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Establish and maintain site datums and control points

*

Carry out accurate setting out for brickwork packages

*

Interpret and work from architectural and structural drawings

*

Liaise with Site Managers and brickwork subcontractors

*

Ensure works are completed in accordance with programme

*

Conduct regular checks to maintain accuracy and tolerances

*

Maintain clear site records and as-built information

Requirements

*

Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer on construction projects

*

Strong knowledge of brickwork and façade setting out

*

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

*

Experience using total station / surveying equipment

*

CSCS Card

*

Own equipment preferred (if applicable)

*

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Desirable

*

Experience on residential or mixed-use developments

*

Immediate availability

*

Previous experience working with brickwork subcontractors
