A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a qualified and experienced Electrician to join a well-established and expanding mechanical and electrical engineering firm. The company operates across a wide range of sectors including Defence, Healthcare, Hospitality, and Government Agencies.
You’ll play a key role in supervising high-quality electrical installations as part of wider building services projects, working closely with engineers, project managers and site teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Electrical Operations Manager in supervising and coordinating the electrical team across multiple projects.
* Lead electrical installations, maintenance, and small works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
* Act as a key point of contact for clients, contractors, and project managers, providing progress updates and technical support.
* Review drawings, plan works, and assist with estimating, material requirements, and labour planning.
* Ensure all electrical work complies with current regulations, company standards, and health & safety requirements.
* Mentor and develop team members, carry out quality checks, and provide certification upon project completion.
About You
Previous experience as an Electrical Supervisor
Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (essential)
ECS/JIB Gold Card (preferred)
Test and Inspection
Experience working on commercial or industrial installations
Good knowledge of Health & Safety and safe systems of work
Able to work from technical drawings and specifications
Excellent communication and teamworking skills
Full UK driving licence
Security clearance would be beneficial
