We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a leading civil engineering contractor delivering projects within the Water sector across the Northern Region.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Site Manager with strong Heavy Civils and Water experience to join a well-established contractor working on secured framework projects.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing site operations on Water infrastructure projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing day-to-day site operations

*

Leading direct delivery teams and subcontractors

*

Ensuring full compliance with HSEQ standards

*

Liaising with the client and stakeholders (Water Authority)

*

Managing programme, resources, and site documentation

*

Driving productivity and maintaining high standards on site

Essential Experience

*

Proven experience as a Site Manager within Water sector projects

*

Strong Heavy Civils / Civil Engineering background

*

Experience working directly with a Water Authority

*

Experience managing direct delivery teams (preferred)

*

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Required Certifications

*

SMSTS

*

Temporary Works Supervisor (TWS/C)

*

Appointed Person (Lifting Operations)

*

First Aid
