Full-time, Permanent Position

Salary and Package:
– £50,000 – £60,000 basic salary
– OTE of circa £65,000 – £75,000 per annum (bonus on average equates to £1,000 per month)
– £400 per month car allowance
– Salary sacrifice scheme
– 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
– Working hours 9:00am – 5:00pm

About the Role
The successful Building Surveyor will primarily undertake:

* RICS Level 2 Home Buyer Reports

* RICS Level 3 Building Surveys

* Site inspections across Derby and the wider East Midlands

* Identifying structural defects and maintenance issues

* Providing clear, concise and practical recommendations

* Dedicating one full day per week to report writing and administration

* Maintaining accurate records and compliance documentation

* Communicating professionally with clients when clarification is required

The working pattern is typically four days carrying out inspections and producing reports, with one protected administration day to ensure paperwork remains accurate and up to date.
