Great opportunity for a Quality Manager working on a prestigious civil engineering project in the Portsmouth Area with an excellent main contractor

The Quality Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all works are delivered in accordance with the project scope, specifications, and relevant legislation and industry standards.

You will develop, maintain, and implement appropriate quality assurance documentation across design, procurement, and construction activities to ensure consistent and transparent compliance.

​Responsibilities of the Quality Manager

* Manage the internal quality team,

* Review, update and maintain the Project Quality Plan

* Manage the development of Inspection and Test Plans and quality inspection checklists

* Monthly reporting to client on quality

* Liaise with the designers, client and client’s representatives in all aspects of quality

* Carry out second party and internal audits in accordance with BS EN ISO 19011.

* Ensure compliance with Water Supply (Water Quality) Regulations 2016

Requirements of the Quality Manager

* Knowledge of construction techniques,

* Good understanding of Quality management systems to ISO 9001

* Producing and meeting requirements of Inspection and Test Plans

* Experience of large complex construction projects

* Joint venture project experience would be advantageous

* Experience of Quality management within civil engineering projects

* Degree or HNC in Construction Management, Engineering or an industry related discipline

* Lead Auditor to ISO 9001

* Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, SharePoint and PowerPoint

* Experience of CDE’s and construction management software, such as Autodesk Construction Cloud
