Our client, a leading contractor, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to deliver high-value projects in Glasgow. This is a permanent opportunity with a strong pipeline of secured work across commercial and public sector developments.
The Role
You will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of mechanical packages, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Working under NEC contracts, you will act as the key point of contact for clients while leading site teams and managing all technical and commercial aspects of the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities

Manage mechanical installations in line with programme and NEC requirements

Oversee health & safety, quality assurance and compliance
*
Control costs, variations and change management
*
Work closely with the Quantity Surveyor on valuations and financial forecasts
*
Coordinate subcontractors and specialist suppliers
*
Monitor and report on project progress
*
Lead commissioning, handover and client training
*
Build and maintain strong client relationships
About You
*
Proven experience delivering commercial M&E projects (£100k–£4m+)
*
Strong knowledge of NEC contracts
*
Relevant Building Services or Mechanical qualification
*
Demonstrable leadership and team management skills
*
Commercially aware with strong IT capability (Excel, MS Project, Word)
*
Proactive, organised and solutions-driven
