Site Manager
Involve Recruitment are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a commercial fit out on a project. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to the required standard.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the daily running of the construction site, ensuring work is carried out safely, on programme, and to specification.
Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, and site activities in line with the project plan.
Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and enforce all health & safety procedures.
Oversee quality control and resolve any issues or delays as they arise.
Liaise with the Project Manager, client representatives and suppliers throughout the programme.
Maintain accurate site records including progress reports and site diaries.
Ensure materials are ordered and delivered in line with project requirements.
Uphold company standards and ensure all works comply with current regulations and specifications.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Site Manager on fit out projects.
Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations and site coordination.
SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS Card and First Aid (preferred).
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain a well-organised, safe site environment.
