What you’ll bring

–        HNC, HND or Degree in Civil Engineering

–        Experience on major civils: piling, RC structures, drainage, earthworks, etc.

–        Ability to guide and manage junior Site Engineers

–        Strong understanding of Tier 1 paperwork and processes across H&S, quality, and commercial

–        Rail experience beneficial but not essential

Your responsibilities

–        Reporting to the Sub Agent and supervising the engineering team through construction to handover

–        Managing and developing the Site Engineers

–        Supporting temporary works coordination and design briefs

–        Planning labour, plant, materials and temporary works with the Sub Agent and Foreman

–        Identifying and resolving technical issues on site

–        Ensuring works comply with safety, quality, and programme requirements

–        Coordinating subcontractors and monitoring performance

–        Ensuring the team has current drawings, information, and resources

–        Assisting with programmes, progress reporting, resource planning and cost control

–        Producing accurate site records and daily diaries
