Contracts Manager
We are recruiting an ambitious Contracts Manager to oversee projects across the South East, taking full accountability for performance, programme and profitability.
Key Responsibilities

Take full ownership of projects from pre-start to final account
*
Manage 1–3 schemes concurrently, depending on scale
*
Deliver projects safely, on time and within agreed margins
*
Lead site teams and coordinate subcontractors
*
Develop and control construction programmes
*
Monitor critical path and implement recovery strategies
*
Manage works within live and occupied environments
*
Coordinate design, procurement and delivery activities
*
Manage JCT
*
Identify and control variations
*
Oversee cost performance and protect margin
*
Support CVR reporting and financial tracking
*
Contribute to final account agreement
*
Chair and attend client and consultant meetings
*
Maintain strong stakeholder communication
*
Ensure CDM compliance and uphold health & safety standards
*
Drive quality control and close out defects efficiently
Candidate Profile
*
Background within main contracting
*
Experience delivering £1m–£10m+ projects
*
Exposure to healthcare, education or commercial sectors
*
Strong commercial awareness
*
Decisive and confident working independently
*
Proactive, accountable and calm under pressure
