We are seeking an experienced Building Services Manager (Electrical Bias) to join a flagship commercial development located in the heart of London. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key leadership role on a high-profile, technically challenging scheme delivering exceptional standards of quality and performance.
The Role
Reporting to the Project Director, you will take full responsibility for managing the electrical building services package from coordination through to commissioning and handover. Working closely with the design team, main contractor, and specialist subcontractors, you will ensure seamless delivery in line with programme, budget, and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the electrical services installation on site
Oversee coordination between MEP disciplines to mitigate clashes and programme risks
Monitor subcontractor performance, quality, and health & safety compliance
Drive commissioning strategy and witness testing
Ensure technical compliance with specifications and industry standards
Support commercial teams with progress reporting and variation assessments
Contribute to successful project handover and client sign-off
Requirements
Proven experience as a Building Services Manager (electrical bias) on large-scale commercial developments
Strong technical understanding of LV distribution, containment, lighting, fire alarms, BMS interfaces, and associated systems
Demonstrable experience managing subcontractors and driving programme
Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills
Relevant electrical qualifications (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent)
SMSTS / CSCS (Black or White card preferred)
