Hamilton Woods Associates are working with a Social Housing provider that is looking for a Gas Supervisor to oversee gas compliance for servicing and breakdowns, and ensure all works are delivered safely and in line with current legislation.

A van and fuel card is provided.

Responsibilities of the Gas Supervisor:

Supported a team of 12 gas engineers (servicing and breakdown)
Acting as the nominated Qualified Supervisor for the organisation's Gas Safe registration
Ensuring all gas works are carried out in accordance with the Gas Safety Regulations
Approving certificates
Carrying out technical audits and post-inspections of engineers' work
Investigating technical failures, incidents and non-compliance issue
Providing technical guidance and support to gas engineers
Ensuring engineers are working within their scope of competence and hold up to-date ACS qualification
Maintaining accurate compliance records and documentation
Supporting the development and review of gas safety policies and procedures
Working closely with Compliance and Property Services teams to ensure statutory targets are met
Reporting on gas compliance performance to senior management

Essential criteria of the Gas Supervisor:

Current ACS gas qualifications (relevant domestic competencies)
Previous experience working within social housing or a landlord compliance environment
Strong knowledge of gas safety legislation and compliance requirements
Experience carrying out technical audits and inspections
Full UK driving licence
