Exciting opportunity on offer for an Architectural Technician who has a year or two’s experience in construction to join a growing and thriving business who work nationwide.

This company are a well-established RIBA-chartered architectural practice who offer a range of services in architecture. They pride themselves on sustainable design and work within several sectors including commercial, later living, leisure, healthcare and more. They are experiencing growth and have some exciting upcoming projects so are looking for an Architectural Technician to join the team.

In this Architectural Technician role, you will be based from their office in Gloucester and will be working as part of the close-knit team. Your main responsibility will be to develop projects from initial planning, working through to completion. You will liaise with clients on a regular basis, ensuring that projects are to plan and on time.

The ideal candidate will have a couple of years’ experience in a similar Architectural Technician role, with experience working on projects from initial plan, working through drawing stage, through to completion. You will have good knowledge of technical construction and have proven experience working in a similar role. You will be a great communicator with strong organisation skills. Experience using ArchiCAD is ideal but not essential.

The Role:

* Architectural Technician

* Working on projects from planning through to completion

* Coordinating with the design team as well as clients and contractors

* Resolve BIM design issues

* Use of ArchiCAD

About you:

* 1 – 2 years’ experience in an Architectural Technician role

* Organised, proactive and able to manage workload effectively

* Experience using ArchiCAD is ideal but not essential (training on offer)

* Willing to learn and progress

* Great communicator

* Full UK Driver’s License
