With a strong presence across the Central Belt, they are known for delivering consistently high-quality work and investing heavily in their people, culture, and long-term career development.Due to continued growth and a strong forward order book, they are looking to appoint an experienced SHE Advisor to join their established team.

Your new role

As SHE Advisor, you will play a key role in promoting best‑practice health, safety and environmental standards across a varied project portfolio. Reporting to the SHE Manager, you will provide proactive support and guidance to operational teams, ensuring all activities are conducted safely, responsibly, and in line with company and legislative requirements.This is a predominantly office-based role with regular planned site visits, offering flexibility where appropriate.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting project teams with SHE advice, coaching and practical guidance
Completing site inspections, audits, risk assessments and compliance checks
Assisting with incident investigations and recommending corrective actions
Contributing to SHE strategy, improvements and behavioural safety initiatives
Producing reports, documentation and updates for internal stakeholders
Promoting a positive, collaborative safety culture across all project environments
What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

Experience in a similar SHE or HSE Advisor role, ideally within construction or a related technical environment
A recognised safety qualification (NEBOSH Construction or equivalent)
Strong communication skills with the confidence to influence, support and engage site teams
A pragmatic, solutions‑focused mindset and a genuine passion for safety excellence
Full UK driving licence
