Site Manager

Our client, is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team based in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering infrastructure and groundwork projects across the North West.

The Role The Site Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating labour, plant, materials, and subcontractors while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Manage daily site activities and ensure programme delivery
Supervise site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management
Coordinate materials, plant, and labour requirements
Maintain accurate site records and documentation Candidate Requirements
Proven experience as a Site Manager within civil engineering or groundworks
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Good understanding of construction programmes and cost control
SMSTS, CSCS (Manager level), and First Aid qualifications
Ability to build strong working relationships on site What’s on Offer
