The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Façade Engineer to join a well-established and growing team based in London. This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial and mixed-use developments across the capital and the wider South East.

You will play a key role in the technical design, review and delivery of façade and external envelope packages, ensuring compliance, performance and buildability from concept through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

Design and technical assessment of façade and cladding systems

Review of curtain walling, rainscreen, glazing and external envelope details

Carry out site inspections and condition surveys

Prepare technical reports, specifications and compliance documentation

Ensure adherence to UK Building Regulations and relevant fire safety standards

Provide technical support throughout RIBA stages

Liaise with architects, contractors, developers and internal teams

Support resolution of on-site technical queries and design challenges

Requirements

Proven experience working as a Façade Engineer within the UK market

Strong understanding of façade systems and external wall construction

Knowledge of fire safety standards (desirable)

Experience undertaking site visits and producing technical reports

Degree qualified in Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
