Bid Manager / Bid Writer – Essex (Hybrid)

We are looking for an experienced Bid Manager and Bid Writer to join our growing team. You will lead the creation and submission of high-quality bids and proposals, ensuring they clearly communicate operational, technical, and commercial solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, review, and edit compelling bid content.

*

Manage bid programmes, deadlines, and submission schedules.

*

Coordinate contributions from internal teams and external partners.

*

Develop submission matrices and track responsibilities.

*

Maintain bid templates, case studies, and supporting materials.

*

Attend bid launch meetings and site visits as required.

*

Collate feedback and implement improvements for future bids.

Skills & Experience:

*

Proven experience in bid management or bid writing, ideally in construction, maintenance, or commercial environments.

*

Experience with planned maintenance or social housing contracts is desirable but not essential.

*

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

*

Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

*

Experience producing complex, technically detailed proposals.
